A native Charlottean, Emily has dedicated her life’s work to helping families find the very best nanny, house manager, and household support professionals in the region. Prior to launching the agency in 2012, she worked for over 18 years as a babysitter, professional nanny, and house manager for busy families and C-level executives. This personal experience gives her a deep understanding of the unique needs and expectations of families, nannies, and household professionals.
Over the past 13 years, Emily has successfully placed many nannies and domestic professionals with families throughout the Charlotte Metro Area and the Carolinas. As a parent and someone who also employs a nanny, house manager, and housekeeper in her own home, Emily understands firsthand the importance of hiring trustworthy, skilled, and compatible in-home support.
Emily holds an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC, and applies both her business acumen and creativity to running the agency with integrity and vision.

Stacy Midgett – Placement Coordinator
Stacy is a dedicated Placement Coordinator at Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency?, where she specializes in creating custom nanny and domestic placements for families across Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Carolinas. She works closely with clients throughout each step of the placement process, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience that sets families up for long-term success.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Stacy earned her Associate Degree in Interior Design before relocating to North Carolina in 2002. She and her family now reside in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where she has made a meaningful impact as a foster parent since 2016, welcoming children of all ages into their home. In 2017, Stacy and her husband adopted their son, who is now thriving in grade school, and in 2023, they adopted a teenage daughter.
Prior to joining the agency, Stacy spent over 18 years in the luxury fishing yacht industry in the Outer Banks, working in purchasing and operations. As the office manager, she was responsible for sourcing high-end materials for building custom yachts — a role that sharpened her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Stacy has also managed private residential properties, overseeing pool and hot tub care, and brings this hands-on home management experience to her placement work.
Stacy enjoys the best of both beach and city life, spending her time between the OBX and Charlotte. When she’s not working, you’ll find her outdoors — especially at the beach — enjoying time with her family and friends.

Judy Dennis – Domestic Talent Recruiter
Judy is a Charlotte native and a vital part of the Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency team as a Domestic Talent Recruiter. Bringing over 40 years of business management experience to our agency, Judy leverages her extensive background to identify and recruit exceptional nannies and other domestic professionals for families throughout Charlotte, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Her deep understanding of the local community, combined with 10 years of experience in the Childcare Industry managing a Dilworth childcare center, provides invaluable insight into the needs of both families, nannies, and household staff. Additionally, Judy’s impressive 27-year tenure as an Office Manager in Charlotte, serving happy patients at a chiropractic office for two decades, has honed her organizational skills and commitment to building strong relationships.
As a mother and grandmother, Judy understands the importance of finding trustworthy and skilled individuals to support families. She guides candidates through every stage of the placement process with dedication and a genuine passion for recruiting the best possible nanny and domestic talent.
Outside of her work connecting families with their ideal support, Judy enjoys gardening, reading, and spending quality time with her friends, adult children, and grandson.
